Sustainable development is a human effort to improve the quality of life by staying trying not to go beyond the ecosystem that supports life. And nowadays, the issue of sustainable development has become an important issue that needs to be continuously socialized in the community (Sustainable Development, n.d.).

As a part of a new sustainable development roadmap, the United Nations approved the 2030 Agenda, which contains the Sustainable Development Goals, a call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and guarantee the global well-being of people. Some goals in Sustainable Development Goals itself there are, to remove the poverty also hunger and guaranteeing a healthy life.  And then, to generalize the access to basic services like water, sanitation also sustainable energy. After that, to support through inclusive education and decent work for the generation of development opportunities. Then, to foster the innovation and resilient infrastructure, creating communities and cities able to produce and consume sustainably. Then, to reduce about inequality especially that can concerning about gender. After that, is to care about the environment combating climate change also protecting the oceans and land ecosystems. And then, to create an environment of peace and sustainable development to promote collaboration between different social agents. The SDGs represent a cross-cutting strategy to “eradicate extreme poverty”, using an integrated approach to address all three aspects of development: economic, environmental, and social. The SDGs touch every single person on the planet with the stated intent to leave no one behind (Sustainable Development, n.d.).

Food security and improved nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture. As a concept, food security emerged in 1974 at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) World Food Conference. It is centered around two sub-concepts; food availability and food entitlement. The first, food availability refers to the supply of food available at local, national or international levels. The second, food entitlement refers to the capability of individuals and households to obtain food. It suggests that people do not usually starve because of an insufficient supply of food but because they have insufficient resources, including money, to acquire it. Thus, food security in a single country, or in the world reflects the ability of food-deficit countries, or food-deficit regions within countries, or food-deficit households within them, to meet target consumption levels on a year-to-year basis (A, 1981).
